read the tutorials, even veterans can learn a few things inside them ;Di have played an MMORPG for the past 8-9yrs 24/7 , pvp and pve.
i know its me, but does not help when your kicked out without no explanation at all.
it took me ages just to get three player confirms to gain the quest, but its becoming more hard.
gladiator to me is hack n slash and thats what i thought it was.
do i have to delete my gladiator lvl 25 and start all over again ?
That said, you can pick a new class whenever you feel like it, no need to delete your gladiator
Well, it should go quicker on your second class. Besides the fact that you're more familiar now with both the game and the world it's set in (which would be enough to speed things up a bit by itself), there's also a 50% XP bonus that you get when playing a lower level class. (That's lower than whatever your highest class is, so if your highest is level 25 as GLD, then you'll get that 50% XP bonus on your next class from levels 1-24.) That helps speed things up quite a bit while you're catching up to where you left off.
The only quests that are locked to a particular class are the ones you get each five levels from your class guild. You'll get another set of such quests for each class you unlock, and each has to be done with the class it's designed around.
All other quests, though, can be done by any class you have at a suitable level for it, including things like starting a quest with one class, completing some of its objectives with a second class and turning it in with yet a third class.
Also be sure it's the right type of equipment. The equipment descriptions list which classes are allowed to equip it, but that's not always the same as being suitable for the class. Gear designed for either magic caster classes or crafting classes will usually have the designation that it's usable for "All classes". Gear designed for the DPS DoW classes will designate that it's for "Disciples of War". But there's better gear yet (with significantly better defense values) that's only equippable by tank classes, and that's what you should be getting as a Gladiator. It will list the specific classes/jobs that are allowed to equip it, so look for gear that specifies either "GLD PLD" or "GLD MRD PLD WAR". That's the tank gear (which unfortunately isn't explained well within the game itself, so a lot of new tanks go in with DPS gear instead thinking the "Disciples of War" designation means it's suitable).
i am back and a little more happy.
i left the gladiator and made up an ACN to lvl22 , i have been using it to heal other players when im just mulling around and helping in fates.
i also made a mage up and trained to lvl27 , i still die but its a little less stress.
out of the two i can settle more in the ACN playstyle, i understand spidering more.
i have also been helping out with the hunts posted in the main chat, i tend to hang back and send cure to people or throw some bio and likes about.
tank is just not my thing but would be nice to use the gladiator.
thank you for advice its been well taken in and used. i am in the zodiak world or something and normaly mull around looking for lv50 B-A marks.
i die but its good fun and i get to help others keep alive lol
clothing, yes i made that mistake at the moment i have a cotton cowl or something , it is lvl15 and i am lvl27 but its the best one i could find. i have learnt to put points into intel mind and pie (116 78 98) and a little into hp , now hunting to find the weapons with the best dps output as i climb to lvl50.
i have heal added to my mage but am not able to have bio or miasima and the likes. those would be more handy to wield and not the low rate cure.
thank you again everyone
