Returning player looking for an active NA shard

Hi all,

Recently returned to the game after a long absence. My server, while active is a JP server so it is quite dead around the times I am usually on. So before dumping $18 on a server change to a random NA server I thought I might ask on the forums to see which server has a decent population doing stuff.

Will be looking to do leve's of all levels still to get my other classes to 50, as well as any new content added since 2.1. So a server with a higher population still doing fates etc would be preferable.

Don't move yet, find 4-8 other english speaking players in your server and go Hunt NOW, rack up tons of seals since you will be doing it on OFF hours for the Japanese players. Stay there for another month or two, since right now, any NA servers will obliterate your hunting chance and catching up will be hard to do. If you don't hunt, you will get left behind and under geared. Enjoy the dead server.

I would like welcome you to Hyperion, if you're interested. The population here is pretty robust and active. Though I will say, while there are people here still doing FATEs, people aren't doing them like they were pre-2.1. They've balanced out dungeon exp, added roulettes, and now we have a challenge log which also grants extra exp. With all that added, there hasn't been the need for hoards of FATE parties running to-and-fro, because we now have other equally lucrative options to grind from 1-50.

All that aside, while the new Hunts has taken a bite out of the amount of content being done game-wide, we have people of all stripes doing all sorts of content.

If you are interested in coming, feel free to hop on over. If you are looking for a FC and LS, you can contact me (Shinku Tachi), Talia Renton, Cynric Caliburn, or Catra Mihgo. If you're talking to one of the three folks other than me, let them know I sent you. Let them know you're a transplant from another server, and about our little chat here on the official forums. Also: Please bear in mind that due to the population on Hyperion, though the log in queues are no more, we have rolling character creation/transfer locks.

I would recommend trying to perform your transfer during the 11:00 p.m. or the 4:00 a.m. (PDT) interval.

Thanks for the help Shinku Tachi, i'll definitely look into Hyperion, might make a new character there to check out market etc before coming over due to the gil transfer limits. Also might stay on my server for a bit longer doing the hunts as per luvbunny said and to check out what's happening on the NA servers.
