LB's Can Miss?

I redacted the names and replaced it with their class but there were two players on me, a monk and warrior. where it says "Monk" is the same player. My first time seeing LB miss me; in fact, its a LB2 and I took no damage from it.



At first i thought the 1109 damage was the LB2 attack but in an LB the player must do the LB attack once started so that miss has to be from the LB. that 1109 has to be some other attack. but ya, had no idea LB could miss

Yup. S'why I have Attunement on my main hotbar now. I've fumbled one too many times trying to get to my PvP hotbar just to press Attunement... and getting hit by Bladedance, Braver (despite being tricky to 'dodge' due to how fast it is) or, more embarrassingly enough, the easiest LB to 'dodge' Starstorm ;-;

It sometimes hits and does less damage, it sometimes hits for full damage. It can miss altogether though. I had a Bladedance miss me completely earlier... Could not stop grinning for a long time!

"Monk misses you" was an autoattack. The 1k was Bladedance (10% of ~11k).

Attunement, Focalisation and, Succor are good way to mitigate blm/smn lb. Dragoon and monk are a little harder to catch.

I didn't think you could auto attack in the middle of an LB cast once you initiate it. I know when I play my DRG once I start an LB, I can't do anything else in between. But ya that does make sense that it was 10% of the 11k damage that I took. I guess the combat log may not always go in order of attack or something.
