Just dabbled in Pvp frontlines for the first time and LOVE it. Played many MMO's PvP modes and this sooo much fun. Maybe its the FF aspect tugging at me a bit but so far it is pretty cool. Why so much negativity around it?

Try Wolves' Den.
I dunno. Most of the people who PVP are good men. The atmosphere is fun whilst being competitive by nature. In Frontlines, anyway.
I dont think many people like to PvP at all. I never really did myself. Especially in the old days of MMO's like in the 90's whoever had the better PC and faster internet basically always won the day. When i think of PvP i think of movies where like 300 people are rushing toward each other...It's never really even remotely like that in video games and if it was, it would probably just lag out anyway.
I have tried the Wolves Den once and it was turrible Kenny, just turrible. Frontlines is incredibly fun. I've played a lot of other games with some large scale PvP and this hits the right sweet spot for me.
I think most people are complaining about how slapped together the Den is. Also, there was some uproar about how the Frontlines teams were split, but that seems to have died down quick. So frontlines good! Wolves' Den baaaaaaaad.
Frontlines could use some work. If your team is dead last there is no reason to not semi-afk till the match is over since you don't get any addition exp/marks for killing players/capping nodes.
1) Frontlines is splitting up people because they have to choose between losing all wolves den progress to play with friends or playing with randoms.
2) The rewards from doing other activities far outweigh the rewards from doing frontlines
3) The pvp gear does not work in frontlines, so pvp gear is vanity only for the most part.
4) This is Final Fantasy, there is already a low want for pvp.
5) Sorta like 1, but having to find 20+ people in the same grand company takes forever to que up. people getting 30+min ques on it.
Those are the 5 reasons I feel it is not done as much.
the frontlines itself is well made and balanced but the win/loss ratio for each nation are imbalanced. people will just move to the nation that win the most.
Because Frontlines is all SE cares about.
It's fun at first, but becomes boring. It's also annoying when your team refuses to coordinate.
