Does anyone know of an app that allows you to layout and track game progression? Quite often I get "squirreled" off track... is there anything out there that ties into (API) the database or maybe someone has logged everything in? I use XIVdb.com (fantastic site), just looking for a more interactive solution. Something to plot out where I'm at and where I'm heading...

I used the Journal in game and saw what my friends were up to.
Engaged content accordingly.

I believe a good old fashioned pen and paper or Word document will also get the job done?
But I understand where you're coming from - Eorzea has so much to do! It's a good problem to have.

The game is so linear you really cant stray that far off course. The story is so cheap and fast even if you did stray it wouldnt be for more than 5 minutes.

Multitasking is the main reason driving my question. I often lament after spending hours on a particular grind, realizing after the fact, that I could have combined several goals and achieved more... There are tons of good reasons to have something to help track and plot your adventures in Eorzea. And yes pen and paper will work (I use my iPad currently) but an interactive app for this purpose would be stellar!

Looking at your character, I can see why you feel this way. Get all your crafter/gather classes to 50 then you will realize why a goal tracker, game manager would come in handy for players that get side-tracked easily.
