PSN registration

Heya, Someone i know is in a spot of bother over registering the game, He bought the PS3 version from PSN and like i say cannot register the game since the PSN version does not give a code. Any help?

With the PS3 (or PS4) versions, the code you need is to tell the PSN you bought the game. If you bought it through PSN, you don't need a code, as it already knows. Your friend should be able to download and start up the game on the PS3 he bought it through. When he starts it for the first time, it will prompt him to either link to an existing SE account or create a new one. That SE account will then be identified as having purchased that PS3 copy, because the PSN will tell it so.

Thanks for the reply i've quoted what you said and sent it to him and hopefully he will be ok but just in case how would he go about linking?

In order in link an existing SE account to a PSN, just enter its information when prompted. It will then pull up the account to review. If that's the account you want to link then hit accept. Be aware that once an SE account and a PSN account are linked, they can not be unlinked, meaning in order to log into the SE account on a playstation, he will have to first log into its linked PSN account.
