Crafting directly from retainer

I personally believe you should be able to craft with items currently on your retainer, you could even make it that you have to be a certain distance from a summoning bell.

in its current state with the amount of materials in the game you have to keep track of what retainer has what items and its very easy to have different stacks on multiple retainers

having access to these materials from the crafting menu would relieve some of this stress or you could just bundle all retainers inventories into one

One last thing having a "Search" option on retainers would be nice

When you do a search it will show whether a retainer has the material so they have in essence made it easier.

If you are worried about a walk then just put a summoning bell in your personal room

Not sure how many retainers you're using, but it makes life a lot easier if you just organize things a bit. I have 1 retainer for materials and 1 for armor/ weapons. My materials retainer gets pretty full sometimes, especially after leveling a new craft (only 2 more!) so I've thought about adding another. If you're using more, just do metal/ stone/ wood on one, cloth/ reagents/ skins/ food on another or some other combination you find useful. It helps to name them appropriately too. My armor/ weapons retainer is named Armoury, for example.
