Can we give beds in private chambers/houses a "Logout" feature?

Just like the beds in inns. I would much rather log out in my private chamber then in the limsa lominsa inn, because it just makes logical sense. But as far as I can tell at the moment, beds are nothing but eye candy. I feel this should change. Is there a technical limitation keeping this from being a reality?

This would be an awesome feature. I am addicted to logging out via beds, its nothing but fluff but its still really pleasing.

I miss a little feature in 1.0 that you went to sleep on the bed on logout and would log in with a dream, and sometimes a goody from under the bed as well. It was really amusing and fun. Especially when some of the dreams were story line cutscenes.

I really miss that, please make it so again!

So first of all, maybe they need to rollback previous change - force-exiting your house after content/logout.

I never played 1.0 but I love ARR, I also wish there was a Comfy Feather Bed and all it does for private houses too and please bring back that dream feature as well, it sounds very nice!...

To put it simpler, I would love if private houses did everything Inns do and more, without inns limitations of course!...

The first piece of furniture I bought when I got my house was a bed, and the next couple times I logged out, I laid down in my bed first to mimic the way logging out in the inn works. But having my character standing outside when I logged back in kind of ruined that, so I've gone back to logging out at the inn. It's rather disappointing that my character owns his own house and has his own bed, but isn't allowed to sleep there.

I suspect the reason they added the logging in outside rule was because of cases where other FC members changed the FC house around while someone was logged out from there, so when they log back in the place where the bed had been is now a wall or something. But I wish the game would just check for those kinds of conflicts when you log in, and only if the spot you logged out is unavailable would it log you back in outside instead. Normally, if the house hasn't drastically changed in the meantime, you should log back in where you logged out, whether that's lying in bed, sitting in the comfy chair by the fireplace, or wherever.

Use the /doze emote while on or next to a bed in your house and your character will lay down on the bed. (Rather oddly, though, it doesn't work with beds in other areas of the game, only the housing ones.)

I'd really like to see a logout feature similar to inn on the bed in your own house. Additionally I think they should allow us to log back in INSIDE of our house. Maybe add a nice little cutscene like the one at inn rooms to both login and logout too
