It would be nice to experience the other cities' storylines. I felt the Limsa storyline explained more about what was going on, but I prefer Gridania (minus the black shroud layout).

I hope so too.. It seems as if Tanaka actually wanted players to feel restricted in everything in this game rather than connected.

One of my favorite things of FFXI storyline was seeing it from the perspective of the 3 nations involved. It gave me a bigger connection to bastok, windy and sandy knowing what they been through in the past and how it all ended.

I may have started in Gridania but I would love to see the story from Uldah and Limsa's PoV.

I have to tell you, you are missing out with Limsas starting storyline, i originally was from Gridania too but just recently rerolled in limsa and im glad i did as the storyline missions are far better than Gridanias imo.
