    Quick Adloquium Question

Wanting to dabble more into the world of healing, I was curious about the barrier that Adloquium applies. Does it apply a barrier equaling the amount of healing, or the actual amount healed? For example, if I heal a player whose HP is 750 / 1000, and my Adloquium heals for 500 HP non-crit, does the barrier equal the 500 I healed for, or only the 250 the player actually received?

I want to start playing more SCH, so I was wondering the answer.

It would shield for 500 in your example. Hope that answers it in general.

I'm primarily WHM, dabbling in SCH from time to time... So I might be inaccurate on the matter, but from my experience and the general consensus in stat weight, I'd say amount healed... Not HP recieved is the deciding factor. So in your example, the player would be shielded for 500 damage, not the 250 the player was healed for. 1500 were the spell to crit for 750.

I main BLM but my secondary job is SCH. When you use Adloquium and heal for 500, you then also put a shield up for 500. Now say you are lucky and crit and heal the target for 700. In this case, whenever you crit on a heal with Adloquium, the shield is double. So, in our crit of 700 example, then the shield is 1400. (Which is why the Crit stat is SCH's most important secondary stat)

Sure is lovely to see those beefy crits rolling in. On a side note, succor, although it does apply the same "galvanize" buff, does not get doubled on a critical, it only shields for face value.

Which is one of the reasons other than Lustrare, full-effect eye for an eye, and fairies, of why we excel at single target healing/protection !
Tanks with covalescence up will love those Adlo crits fo sho!
