Or are locked out of it.
I like doing hunts but I also like doing coil. But can't do any T6 or T7 this week until next reset, no matter how much I want.
How is Ramuh dated when it just came out?
How many times a week do you prefer to raid? Instead of demanding SE to remove lockouts, which isn't going to happen, why not go the other way and ask for more raid content? I personally would like to see 4 different types in 3.0, two full party (one hardcore and one casual) and two alliance (one hardcore and one casual).

I think the real problem that most people have is that you can FARM hunts far more efficiently and get all the oils and sands you want in such short time, and NO LOCKOUT whatsoever. Sure - soldiery is putting everyone at cap, but this is far more easier way to farm than doing raid with its weekly lockout. What SE should have done is adding more oils and sands into ALL level 50 farm dungeons, and remove that particular lock out from raid. You can loot gears once a week but the restriction does not apply to oils and sands drops, this way everyone can farm them via normal level 50 "farm dungeons" with lower drop rates, and raid dungeons with higher drop rates. Or just continue farming Hunts - which as it is now, gives you the best options.
Same problem as CT, it drops level 100 non-upgradable gears and most ppl are already full iLevel 100. It just lack of the appeal for most player. There was a thread about it just recently explaining why people didn't feel like doing it.

In terms of lockouts, they could easily increase the number to 3 for a week, since it's clear they want it limited.
Why not? The reasoning behind lockout was to prevent the playerbase from gearing up with i110 quickly. Now that the hunts are out that is a moot point. The reward from hunts do not have a lockout.
totally agree with OP. PF/CF/CT/SCoB all takes much longer to fill in. if you are leveling new job, probably will have to solo those FATE. Used to be at least some people hitting FATE because of Atma/Alexandrite, but not anymore.
There are tons of ppl online but there isn't much else going besides 4~5 PF about mob hunt. sometimes you'll see 1 zone full of ppl camping for an A or S when windows is open. it make me felt like i am back to ff11 days. i am about to quit the game
Non-XI ppl screaming they are quitting because hunts are too much like XI. XI people screaming they are quitting because the hunts are not enough like XI.
Boy SE done miscalculated this one. lol
hunts are a boss fate without a marker and decent rewards. Nothing more nothing less.
Doesn't matter why they don't want to do the old content, they just don't want it. They are choosing to do the hunts because they prefer the hunts over the other crap.
Rewards includes: Fun, gear, gil and is based on efficiency (x per hour).
Hunts give the best Myth, soldiery, seals for alexandrite & upgrades for 100 to 110 and is far more entertaining then wiping due to some idiot in a dungeon.
Not even to mention I can get into a hunt pt within 10 minutes of logging in, why on earth would I want to wait in DF for 30 minutes for something that offers less?
Crying to SE saying the content more players prefer is ruining the game because they don't want to play with you is childish.
Everyone with a similar mindset should cancel their account here, and zerg with everyone who plays GW2. Seriously, that game is nothing but a zergfest: PvP? Zerg. Open-world Bosses? Zerg. Best way to make money? Zerg. Best of all, it won't cost you 15 bucks a month. I just came from that game and this is the prime reason I left it after about a year of playing it ( 7 on GW1 ). It's very, very depressing knowing that in about three hours, I'll be level 50, doing the exact same thing I did there if I want keep up with everyone else ( or in my case, catch up ).
Edit: I'd also like to point out that running dungeons is pretty pointless as well in GW2, making open-world boss farm chaining the best possible route to getting whatever it is you need. The same can be said of Dynamic Events for when you want to 'spice' things up ( Dynamic Events are the same as Fates here ).
Rewards from Dynamic Events ( Fates ) and zerging open-world bosses ( Hunts ) in GW2 ruined PvE there; both dungeons, and 'difficult' content by default whether instanced or not. Be my guest, stroll over there and look at the forums. You'll find thread after thread after thread exactly like this one here, there on the GW2 forums with the only difference being GW2's is months, to years older. Think of it as a prelude to what PvE will be like here in this game, if the rewards aren't adjusted.

And they have not figured this out yet, ST has lock out and all items are ilvl 100 LOWER then the spamable ilvl 110 gear you get from hunts, i mean for someone who does not sleep they can easily get all slots in a 110 in a week of none stop hunting, for but for full ilvl 100 ST that will take you about 4-5 weeks, assuming you win the items. it just.... doesn't add up.Same problem as CT, it drops level 100 non-upgradable gears and most ppl are already full iLevel 100. It just lack of the appeal for most player. There was a thread about it just recently explaining why people didn't feel like doing it.
Sure, that works too, but it's not going to happen either. Removing lockouts it's far simple and more effective solution.
