Literally everything else that matters in this game is locked/capped except hunts and I think this is where the problem lies. If you're going to lock coil/ST/tomes(dungeons) then there needs to be a balance with everything else, including hunts.

Coil queues are dead.
Duty Find Queues are dead.
Doing Atma/Animus Book for dungeon, the Queue for them are dead.
Small loading is dead. Now its a long long loading with ppl zerking on a single map for a single Mark.
Helping New Leaf players in the game is hard to find a Queue of the class for them is also dead.
Force of luck on Roulette to get the dungeon.
Force to ask FC for a dungeon run.
Coil 6-7 looks pointless besides Gear but Queue is dead.

I don't have to do Brayflox HM 270 times to upgrade Atma to Animus
My Friends List hit the 200 person cap and I had to delete people who quit
I have something else to do to progress after Coil once a week
People are actually running around the game world and the server actually feels alive
I can still ask in FC when I need to do dungeons for my books
The server community has all joined together to record when Hunts marks die and cooperate to pop the S ranks

As for low level dungeon queues, I haven't seen any problems solo queuing for them to do my book. I'm working on my Artemis Bow Animus, rDPS queues are the worst and it hasn't been really any different before and after Hunts for me.

Hunts have ADDED SO MUCH fun to Final Fantasy XIV. I'm glad they added something I could do besides endlessly grinding dungeons and I'm going to keep my subscription. Thanks Yoshi! Now please increase my Log drops!

Am I the only one who isn't afflicted by a "dead" party finder? Every time I queue, unless I'm on DPS of course, I usually enter within 5 minutes. Unless its super late at night, or early depending on how you look at it, the PF is still going strong.

They explained to add them later after monitoring...

Were you going after ilvl 50 gear? because i have no idea why people are considering anything below ilvl 100 gear "useless"

I perfectly know that, but bluntly put I think hunts is the most retarded thing theyve done since the rerelease and I just cant get any sense of satisfaction or accomplishment from it. it works for others, for me it just made the game a trainwreck.

doesnt help that I always pay 6 months in advance, because in this case I would really like to show them how much they fucked it up, since $$$ is the only language they understand.

I've done a 180 on hunts. I hated them at first.

But New & Shiny wore off, and folks at least on Leviathan have organized a semi-decent community around hunting (with linkshells and all). So unless you're a weirdo that doesn't like to interact with other players in this multiplayer online game, they're quite enjoyable now.

But it seems to me that many of the people who are still complaining about hunts are people who are simply mad that they can't passively get involved in the activity. They need to talk to people and ask for invites and communicate with others. That's scary scary stuff for nerdly nerds.
