I agree with this, if only because we were promised it at the end of 1.0 when Yoshida stated that he thought it was unfair American players couldn't manage Ifrit HM because everything was hosted in Japan. Personally, my ping is fine and I stand half a chance at dodging things. But! I know a lot of EU players which are (unfairly) known as bads because the latency for them is unbearable.
