How do you use the points?
It's very simple. When a piece of loot drops you look at your list, then you ask who wants the item. The person with the highest points get it automatically, if two or more people have the same amount of points, they may then roll normally against one another.
Once the person acquires the item, you cut their points in half rounded down.

If nobody needs it for main jobs, it's a free greed roll for offspec with no cost in points.

That's it!

This assures that one person does not constantly win items over and over while everyone else is left in the dust, and those that haven't won an item in a while will eventually have first dibs on an item of their choosing!

This also prevents from new raid members winning an item another raid member has been trying to get for a very long time.
