    I've got some mixed feelings with that system, since it might look fair, I think you should focus on seeing what the flaws in your group are. If any DPS needs X gear before the other DPS or if the OT is better or worst geared than the MT, the same with healers. But that's my opinion! Regarding your system, it's not clear for me what these points for "downing a boss" are. Do you assignate them by seeing the battle log and check who killed the boss? Or you mean people that was in the party when the boss was killed?
