    Can't complete version check

    I am unable to update my launcher. What am I supposed to do about it? It won't complete the version check. I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, running as admin and neither worked.

    go to my documents then my game then final fantasy folder.
    open ffxiv_boot and change it to

    <FINAL FANTASY XIV Boot Config File>

    Version 2
    Language 1
    Region 3
    EulaAgreement 1
    StartupCompleted 1
    B4EulaAgreement 0
    BootVersionCheckMode 1
    ConfigReset 0

    1. Quit your FF XIV Launcher.
    2. Go to your Documents / My Games / FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn and delete FFXIV_BOOT.cfg
    3. STart Launcher, answer all the questions and you will be able to play again
