Two Players Possibly Returning. Looking for FC

My friend and I are thinking of coming back to the game. We both played pretty hardcore until the 2.2 nerfs to T1-5 which caused us to quit. Just wondering if there is an FC that plays on NA EST times or something close on Shiva? We really don't want to go through the trouble of a server swap. Thanks

I'll never understand this "Oh, old content is nerfed, I quit instead of doing the new endgame" - folks xD

The reason is because, I worked my ass off on the old content and then Square shit all over my accomplishments by nerfing it. If I had to guess theyre going to do the same thing with the new endgame content and just repeat that indefinitely. What is the purpose of wasting hours and days of playtime and sub costs for content that's going the be stripped down and able to be blown through quickly when the next thing comes out. There is no sense of accomplishment, I don't like the "Everybody gets a trophy" mentality in mmo's. Thanks

Strange.Is it your first MMO?Cause its normal,that old Content gets easier by Time and further Patches in every other MMO as well.
And for your Question whats the Purpose...the Purpose is to have Fun,to get challenged,etc...just choose your own Purpose for playing a Game.

You killed it before nerf -> challenge mastered, end of story. New challenge arrives with patch -> move onto new challenge and master it before nerf. Easy thing. Doesn't matter what other ppl do in old content. However we have now savage coil, which isn't likely to be nerfed, there you have your long-lasting achievement.

I get what you guys are saying. But why did they nerf the old content so quickly? It's not like it was so old that only a few brand new players needed to do it. There was still a massive amount of people that had not downed Twintania. I just don't understand the logic. I guess it's all about money. No this isn't my first mmo. I played FFXI for almost a decade and NOTHING was ever handed out in that game. But seriously, Is there an FC that runs events during NA times? LOL
