That's... pretty unfortunate. I can definitely understand some reasons why (especially on /tell, you know that RMTs would abuse this), but it's kinda sad for providing the full welcome from my FC that we might for some friends that want to join.

Probably in place to prevent FC's for abusing trial accounts to increase the fc's points and rank.

For every feature that goes into this game, they have to take a million precautions against possible exploits and abuse. It's a sad fact of life, people will abuse anything if given the opportunity. Ruins it for the rest of us.

Indeed... I was going to try and invite friends using this but, what's the point? We cannot play together, cannot be in the same FC, cannot even chat outside /say chat...

Not sure if you missed it, but Free Trial players are able to join Linkshells.

You can invite them to party, you can chat in party.
They can't invite YOU to party though.

This'll be a good conjunction with the recruitment campaign, I think. I just hope that I find friends interested enough to give this game a sub so that I can get my rare items!

Oh, anyway, realized the free trial, still confused about the mount stuff. But, question here. Will... Will trial players have their own icon so we identify them? Because of the they can't almost communicate and that. I'd like to have that icon few times for a excuse.... :3

I first read about the free trial from a friend posting on their Facebook. At first I thought "Didn't we already have a free weekend thingy?" but I checked it out and it's the real deal. I may pass this along to my few friends that still play WoW, so they can see what I've been doing for the past 11ish months.
