Don't bother... Square Enix does NOT give a crap about hunts or the problems they are causing for any of us. There I said it.
P.S. This is not my main...
They prob can but the ps3 was not made to handle lots of traffic back when i was on ps3 id crash a few times in CT not just me but others on ps3 as well and that only shows that moving on the ps3 will have probs. SE can lower things in game to work with the ps3 but then all they be doing is holding the game back more and more
Sadly, your best option is to make your own party of PS3 players and hunt mobs alone. By that, I mean you find and kill the B's and A's when you see them and disregard the zerg community. For S ranks... can't say. I'm never online or in the right zone whenever Hyperion decides to pop them.
why are you so against upgrading? i understand its expensive, but its a one-time buy, and you could afford it, someone pays internet, and a subscription for you.
if anything you should want to upgrade. sure its not backwards compatible, but neither is the ps3. the only reasone you can play ps1 on it is because you have a little over 40 gigs of emulators downloaded onto it, they arent even truly compatible.
They should give a 9 month notice they are dropping support for PS3. That'd be something good for the health of the game.
Hunts are fine the way they are, people just play content wrong and QQ about it. I can agree PS3 doesn't stand a chance, but they shouldn't have released this game for PS3 in the first place. It's hardware is not up to the specs required for this game.
As a PS3 owner expect to not to participate with anything over 100 players.
