This already exists with half rewards by use of the language filter and the light party DFWell the purpose of these prearranged games would be for practice/fun purposes, where friends can challenge another group of friends directly, not using the duty finder. Square wouldn't add rewards to these matches because it could easily be abused.
There wouldn't be a wait time for this as well. An example of how it could work would be for the leader of each party to target each other, and in their target menu, have an option that states "Request Match."

Not necessarily the same. With that method, you are assuming both parties have the same and equal ranks for all their players (lets say all rank 40s). As Koltik mentioned himself, even if one person is not rank 40, then there will be a long delay due to the faulty matchmaking system. What I and the people I spoke with were suggesting is to bypass all of those restrictions, make two groups of four people (following the tank/healer/melee/range format of course), and regardless of all their pvp ranks, have these two groups be able to directly challenge each other to a match. As an example, Ayerro mentioned that she has enough pvp players within her server to set up matches against each other for fun and for practice.
For those of you who played WoW, I am basically referring to implementing the "wargame" functionality.
I would personally love a capture the flag battleground. Like two teams, 8vs8 or 16vs16, and no three GC deal again. I think that would give tanks a bigger role in PvP as flag carriers, too.
The striking dummies in the Wold Den Pier need to be adjust into allow Bards of testing archery distance potency.

The biggest thing that needs to be addressed is queue times. I'm with Maelstrom, and my queues are horrendous. Almost every single time I queue, it gives me the more than 30 minute message. I think about the shortest time I've seen display is 23 minutes.
There's a friend in my FC who also does Frontlines w/ the Immortal Flames. Just about every single time we're queueing at the same time, he gets in in 5-6 minutes.
Then I think maybe I should switch to Flames. Nope, you go switch and you're friggin' reduced back to starting rank. So, I either have the choice to sit around with 30 minute queue times while my friend gets in in 5 minutes, or I switch to Flames getting faster queues but lose 20 ranks. Seriously? Why does your PVP rank have to be taken away if you switch just for the intention of actually being able to play???

Q24: Are you planning to make additions or expansions to the Wolves’ Den in the future?
A24: With the implementation of Frontline, there has been a good percentage of players who started to try out PvP for the first time, and I’m thinking with the percentage we’ve been seeing it might be a good idea. However, for the moment we’d like to keep increasing the amount of people participating in PvP, so I’d like to focus on Frontline for now.
Once a bit more people get involved in PvP, I’d like to make adjustments to the Wolves’ Den by adding rankings and rewards to make it more competitive.
Yay. It's nice to see that they will in fact be implementing rankings and rewards to Wolves' Den in the future! Hopefully these rankings will be done correctly and not based on how the rankings for Frontlines are currently done.

(Refer to last post on page 6)
I think a suitable and simple way to do these rankings would be to have a personal rating system that climbs as you win, and decreases when you lose. This rating would also be continuous for a period of time and not reset on a weekly basis. These ratings would also only be for 4vs4 premade teams. I think a solo queue rating could work in addition to queueing with a premade team, but this rating would be another personal rating, separate from the premade rating. These are just my ideas. Other thoughts?
