No, you can have them use your referral code just fine. It just means you can not use their code.

Ok, so right now I'm on my 30 days free, because I bought the game. So you're saying I'll still get my referral rewards once they sub for the appropriate length of time? Even though I'm not subscribed yet?

The way they made it sound on the phone is that because I was on my 30 days free basically I wouldn't get any rewards for referring anyone unless I bought a 60 day time card to give myself, "registered" status. Even right now in Mog Station I'm listed as "unregistered" even though I bought the game and registered a code, but haven't actually paid for game time yet.

It's all very confusing!!

The simplest way to say it is one of your accounts must be active (bought time). Or else there is no referral in the first place.

So... You based ont he info I personally know and what the rep has said to you it breaks down like this:

You buy time - give your friend the referral code - they buy at least 90days time - you both get the 'rewards'. Done deal ^_^

Ok, here's another question, because maybe I'm asking it all wrong. I do have the option to refer a friend right now on my account page, even though I'm on my free 30 days included time. If I refer a friend now, will I eventually get my referral rewards once my friend and I have paid for enough game time? I understand I wont get the rewards now, because I'm on free time...

My point is is that I don't care when I get the rewards, as long as I get them eventually... I just want to be able to refer my friends NOW because I want to play with them. I'm sure SE would rather me refer them now, right?

The pictures for the wedding chocobo are different. They are completely white and there are two of them I believe. It was in one of the live letters a few months back a lot with art of the dress and tux.

I don't see why friends can't have a special mount too :/

Thanks, I have good laugh about "I quit the game for thing that maybe will show up in game at some point later and I think I will not get it".

I really hope there's another way to get a 2man mount, otherwise many people who already invited their friends just got completely screwed.
