Friend Recruitment Code?

My question is if this is an error, has anyone out there used a recruit code while on a trail, or do I need to actually purchase the game before I can use the code?

I think so, once I went from trial to the purchased game I was able to see the recruitment stuff. Then when you setup your subscription is when you can put in the recruitment code. Mine is available if needed, HWJ2UZHD
