Second Coil Items Lost Due to Hyperion World Technical Difficulties

    Date: 7/29/14
    Time: 9:20pm PDT
Area: Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 3

    SE Support Team,

My party had just completed the Second Coil of Bahamut Turn 3 and were in the process of lotting when the Hyperion world began to have technical problems.

One by one the members of our party disconnected with error 90000 until I was the only one left. I had already passed on the three items in the loot pool. All three were "unable to be obtained" and hit the floor.

Is there any way to obtain what was lost due to the server crash? Our party has worked very hard to clear this encounter and it would be a shame for our rewards, which can only be obtained once per week, to go to waste. Please respond when you are able and thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.

    Sincerely,
    Cyndair Aranai - Hyperion Server

I think you should get it back. You beat the content and through no fault of your own the game went down and cost all of you your weekly loot and you have evidence to prove it. Though is there a way to determine who was supposed to get it? You aren't showing who had which lot (understandably so) so what could they do besides reset all of your weekly timers for it? If anything?

Yeah, it's tricky. I spoke with a GM and they said that they are unable to restore items that had never made it to a players inventory, which I understand. It becomes a slippery slope if GMs start distributing loot. I asked if it was possible to at least reset our lockout flag for Turn 3, but it was not within a GM's power to do so. Their only suggestion was to submit a bug report and hope that the devs would do something. I'm going down that avenue now, but I'm not super hopeful at this point.
