The superior content was added/improved long after the reputation crush (which was on the initial launch). The reason 1.0 stumbled out the door and fell on its face is that it was launched completely unfinished. You people really need to do your homework, the stuff people are saying about 1.x is largely stuff that was not part of the initial hated launch.
