Hullo.

I'll go over some background on the FC, then get to the plug.
We're a relatively new FC, formed of people who server transferred by Brynhildr. Reasons for transfer? Mostly because of the weak presence of endgame content in the server, as well as some issues we had with general server politics and other such nonsense that is prone to giving people migraines. Right now, we're almost made up entirely of emigrants, and we're looking to expand. We're an endgame-focused FC, but we have no plans to isolate people (provided they're serious about staying in the game and don't quit after a week or even a month).

Right now, we're setting up a second raid group - one that really is just beginning second coil. Experience isn't much of a requirement here; we're looking for dedication. People who are willing to learn and stick with it and get some clears are ideal. This group also does not require FC member, but I won't turn you away if you want to join in with us and cry over the lack of gear. As of this post, this group needs a white mage and a second tank (PLD preferred). We are also looking for to fill other spots (BRD, any other DPS, and SCH) but we have people who will likely take these places; but they are not definitively filled just yet. This group intends to meet on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 9PM EST. The schedule has some flexibility to it, but this is more or less what it will be.
We would also like to establish a third raid group, with some people in the FC whose schedule won't enable them to join this one, but one step at a time.

Sounds like you might be what I have been looking for. My main is an i99 bard that has been stuck on T5 and would love to progress further. Meeting on Sundays though might not work for me and how long do you usually raid for? I also saw where you said you weren't that active of a FC, so if not a raid night, is it pretty much dead then?

Yeah, sadly we're not too active except for the main group. We have about ~20 people in the FC, but a good portion of these people are inactive or even on vacation/unsubbed. While we're not completely dead, we usually have 2-3 people other than the main raid group members on at once, so it feels very empty. Members complain about having trouble finding others to run stuff with; it doesn't help that as transfers we've yet to make many friends. Several of our players also have some timezone issues, which makes it hard to meet up. We're not completely dead but you can definitely feel alone during certain times of the day.

As for how long we raid, my group goes until we get the job done - usually we'll do T6-8 in one night then call it after that, T9 the rest of the week. The second group we're trying to build will likely run for 2-3 hours. I imagine most people would like to get two full queues in, especially when starting out and learning a fight.
