    Ah, of course, I neglected to consider gear and the massive differential come end-game. Still only getting my head around the more advanced builds for end-game as I'm still relatively new.

    It's not really about end-game gear. Cleric stance swaps your INT and MND stats, sure, but it also increases magic damage by 10% while decreasing healing potency by 20%.
