Thats the chinese version of behemoth. because, chinese restrictions dont allow undead, demons or anything like that


When I first looked at the mount, my first thought was that it looked like a reskinned and slightly altered model of Behemoth... and, reading what you wrote... it all makes sense. I remember reading about the changes that would need to be made to the Chinese version of the game to comply with laws over there, namely excluding certain things deemed inappropriate... and, of course, those things would need to be altered to fit players in that region.

Probably replace or re-texture or whatever it is. WoW has a good example of it. Look up pictures of "Lord Marrowgar" and then look for "Chinese Lord Marrowgar".



Yeah, as much as it'd be cool to have that in the international game, they have to give the Chinese a bone in this regard. I don't mind never getting it, it's not like it'd make my game any better to play.



Looks like it's patterned after those chinese lion dance thingies or something.
