I was unaware they were even going to do this. If they do, I don't expect them to release anything that is useful, similar to what Trion did in Rift. That toolkit could barely build a proper parser, much less some of the more intricate functionality (ala bartender) many of us were hoping for.

In short, even if they do release a kit, don't have high expectations. It will likely be completely useless.

Yoshi actually commented on it recently. He said addons would have access to whatever information the client has, which includes damage information and such.
