"To Fight A Fishback" not working as intended.

To Fight A Fishback requires you to go to certain spots around Limsa and gather Pixie Remoras. The first 2 spots work fine (although, my friend said the second spot didn't work for him). The 3rd spot, below Skull Valley, seems to be bugged. You're suppose to get a message saying "Your instincts tell you there's a school of fish here" when you've hit the right spot. I did it over and over on the spot, even places around the marker and still no go. I abandoned it and tried it again the next day. This time, the 3rd spot worked. The 4th spot next to it worked at all. The 5th spot requires you to go east of Bloodshore. Of course, this spot is broken now. I really don't want to abandon in again just so there can be a chance that it will work properly this time. I've tried all around the area and I don't get the message at all.

Please take a look at this quest. I want to get my skills and I can't until I complete it

So I decided to give it another go and it was still bugged, BUT I figured out what happened. The text is bugged, but the spot is not. It didn't give me the message saying "Your instincts tell you there's a school of fish here", but I continued to fish there anyway. I ended up getting the fish on the first shot. So the quest works, it's just the text that's bugged.

How did you get to the second spot? I keep getting 1-shotted by level ~70 Clippers.

I too had this issue. I decided to fish anyway, with no luck.

I then moved slightly to the left, and got the dialog as expected.

Definitely a finicky quest!

Yeah trying this quest right now, having trouble getting the message to trigger at the bloodshore area. Tried fishing for a few times and the indicator for quest mob didn't appear either.

The quest area for bloodshore has the wrong coordinates. The quest log displays 38-21 but the correct pool of fish for this quest is at 38-23.

That could be the problem a lot of people have with this quest since quest markers were added?

Seconding the fact that it's (38-23). I was ripping my hair out trying to do this quest and thought someone somehow fished out the pool.
