Syrcus Tower

Hey peeps.

I've gotten my alternate character up fairly high, and wanna use him for some later content.. More specifically Syrcus Tower as the drops are pretty handy for a new guy still restrained by Soldiery Cap that hasn't had a lot of loot elsewhere.

Unfortunately to unlock it I gotta do Labyrinth of the Ancients, which is unfortunately now a graveyard. I've had 25 minute+ queues that have not come anywhere remotely close to a full alliance. Any way to get around this? I feel like it could really be an issue going forward, especially when more patches come out.

Best suggestion is to try and get your FC to make a group with you or start a PF group. Others are in the same boat as you I would think. It stinks but is what it is. Possibly in future patches they will remove the requirement as they did with EX primals to get to MOG and LEVI EX.

I was just going to mention that. It wouldn't make sense to be able to get inside the tower without first breaching the perimeter defenses (since labyrinth is not actually in the tower).

There's a precedent. You no long need to complete Turns 1-4 to run Turn 5. I agree though that they would be less likely to do the same thing here due to the connected story.

I would ask FC friends/LS friends to at least make an 8-man group off the bat. Then you only have to wait for 16 others.

If that fails/not possible, I can suggest making a PF party for it, stating you need kind people to unlock or those that need it as well.

Else prehaps Yoshi has plans to re-vamp it so new players can get it, AKA giving 500 myth per run.. to those that have completed it once..

Not in 2.0 or later as a tank or healer. Those days never existed.

Took too long almost 30 minutes here to come in, with 4 withdrawn. Well, after I will do Labyrinth of the Ancients again. I am trying to learn to play in big maps and full party.

Took 25 mins for me as well when i Was doing it to unlock syrcus recently, but the run was very smooth and quick.
