    Glamours and pvp

The glamour system is expensive. The Artifact armor is even more expensive to make dyeable.
And Square Enix you wont even let us pvp with this ? Im sure alot of players put alot of farming and money into making their glamours. But in pvp you basically just ditch the glamours. And you make pvp armor that looks so terrible (Im sure some players loves it) but knowing that I cant even use glamours on that ugly armor. Doesnt make me wanna do pvp for sure.
And I feel sorry for those who put so much time and effort into making AF gear dyeable and cant even use it in pvp zones.
Sqeenix you just becoming more and more stupid. Not wierd that players wont stay in your game more.

In PvP, people could use Glamour to disguise their job, effectively using Glamour as camouflage to take the enemy by surprise.

That's why it's disabled. It was a good choice, you just don't see the bigger picture.

Pvp could needed some suprises. And no one likes Wolves' Den anyway. Atleast frontlines have some more action.

and that's a problem because....? All what I'm seeing is that people want to easily find someone they can get an easy kill on.

There are now 8 snowmen running at you. Quick, decide on your target. In PvP, every moment you spend thinking as opposed to acting can be incredibly costly.

This was fortunately relatively fixed through transforming the character titles from Fresh Meat as they were at inception (when the No Glamours was introduced) into actual class information. There's still some argument to be had about the display of relative strength (consider identifying a WHM as running around in i60 gear right now and there's an i90 one standing next to them, versus Glamour where they're both in snowmen outfits), but it's entirely within the realm of acceptable at this point.

If I recall correctly, in the latest Live Letter we had a question where Yoshida flat-out said they would be making glamours work in Frontlines. Can't have them in Wolves' Den though, for the reasons Dice pointed out above.

Really? I had heard that there would never be glamour in Frontlines because of that.

Originally there weren't any plans, but there's a lot of requests coming in for it. In the last Live Letter, as mentioned, Yoshida said they'll be doing something about it.

Originally the "No Glamours" policy was decided on for Wolves' Den, which originally displayed Fresh Meat as the name of all opponent characters. In 2.28, however, opponent names were changed from "Fresh Meat" to whatever their class is, in order to promote clarity, and this essentially gives a workaround to the main difficulty Glamours would introduce (difficulty discerning targets).
