I'm actually with SE on this one. I think Vanity>stats, and they are in a very good place with it. It's only expensive if you want it NOW, but that's how fashion works. An overhaul of the vanity system comes to mind, how something that was supposed to be so simple and purely for looks turned into what we have now, I just don't know....guess they needed to shove crafts in there somewhere, but it's still a horrible mess in my eyes. Still iffed at the augmented AF thing I suppose...
Interesting thread, and suggestions from others. Off the top of my head... obviously with adjustments so it doesn't break anything or make it tooooo easy, before anyone gives me a thick ear
1. Have new quests pop for levelling up other classes, rather than relying on FATEs/dungeons/leves to level.
2. Alternative ways for people at level 50 to farm stuff rather than constant FATE or dungeon running! This is for ATMA/Novus/Soldiery/Allied seals... hunts were step in the right direction.
3. Alternatives to high end weapons and gear, variations on sets so we're not stuck running the same dungeons over and over.
I think my overall point is... I don't mind grinding, don't mind if it's tough to do, but more options overall on how to achieve things. For example, I really love doing the Beast Tribe quests! More in the same vein please.

1) Turn hunts into endgame leves
2) Ask the devs to ignore every other suggestion from the forums and keep doing what they want
Just my opinions. Don't get all jumpy they aren't what the community wants. Just things I would like to see.
1) More Instanced dungeons. Don't care if it's 15-49 or lvl 50. I like dungeons and it's the main source of entertainment for me. Done them a million times over and still not bored with them, even brayflox HM after all the myth spamming for my animus.
2) Hunts as treasure maps. I dislike open world content. Especially ones like the hunt. I'm not going to bother joining knowing my chances of getting there, especially with a slower computer, are slim. It's just a waste of my time as it is now. Though to be honest even if it were maps already I would probably get bored of it pretty quickly anyways. It's just insanely repetitious like FATEs. At least in dungeons things can go wrong, people do other strategies, or maybe the tank is not so good so it gets kinda hectic, ect...
3) Make gear equal to coil outside of coil. Just to fix the attitude problem people apparently have with non-coil goers for not being "the best" in the game. Well it probably wouldn't fix the attitude but it would be a nice slap in the face. Based off only like 3 dungeons where I met people with HA gear on but they were complete a-hats to everyone.
4) Someway to not harass new players for watching cutscenes. No idea how, just sort of on the wishlist lol
5) Dye more than one part or section of an armor.
6) More raids like CT/ST. Those are also great fun and hecticness. Had great amounts of fun on the first day when everyone was new and we slowly figured it out, winning with like 5ish mins left on the clock x3
7) Higher chances for armor instead of mats or something. Been over 3 months...and I still haven't gotten the entire Hussar set from the HM Brayflox/Halatali/Amdapor because it's apparently such a rarity lol Though it is quite funny at times. Like when you beat the final boss and they start talking about their secret or whatever and you open the chest to see Coke lol
8) Removed weekly lockout on any and all Coil. I don't really do coil much, but i read some of the complaints on this. Does seem bogus you can't go back and at least do it for fun...
9) More primals. Those are fun too. Except Titan. Never >.>
10) More fights like the one in Stone Vigil HM would be great. I sucked horrible on it as healer (but that's just because I suck at keeping myself alive as healer anyways apparently) but it was pretty awesome. Makes me nostalgic for Star Ocean 3, probably one of the only games I ever really enjoyed xD Bosses had actual physics to them (legs could crush you as they walk for example), and you read their movements to understand their attacks. It was pretty sweet.
I might add more later, just typed this up in a hurry while getting ready for work.
The unique perspective of Touhou in my own words and why it is different from the typical game or manga c:

Great topic.I'd like to see:
* Party Combos: Something like the Triple Tech (Chrono Trigger), or Skillchain / Renkei (Final Fantasy XI) or some stylish improvement on the Battle Regiment system in 1.0.
Just some way for Players to try and link / string certain Weaponskills and/or Spells after each other to create a special Combo / Bonus Effects that are meaningful.
It opens up Combat and makes it far more interesting and engaging than it is now.
FIX THE HUNTS. That is all.
P.S. This is not my main...
Another improvement in the future:
* Less of the completely scripted, Insta-Kill Gimmick fights, and more content where you're challenged to know your Job and Job Skills and intricacies.
Less "Group Jump Rope / Dance Routines," and more fights where you have latitude to experiment and try different aspects of your Job and take down a Boss in a variety of ways.
Personally I want a tiny checkbox (or a NPC that gives the options) in the options that triggers "Theme park mode".
Theme park mode:
- Balloon icon next to name to show the mode is on.
- NPCs available that will trade you any gear in the game for free.
- Balloon icons on gear given by NPCs. These are unwearable if theme park mode is off.
- Unable to lot on drops.
- All locked quests are still locked until previous content is cleared.
So who is theme park mode for?
- People who want to have an easier time to clear certain dungeons/etc. by wearing higher ilvl gear.
- People who want to join friends on a high ilvl activity but has not yet grinded all the gear.
- People who want to join PvP without first working up gear to not get smashed.
- People who like vanity and dressing up, but do not enjoy grinding first.
- Or simply people with little free time to play.
And who is this mode not intended for?
- People who like to earn things through grind and show off.
- People who want to take it slowly and let things come naturally.
- People who don't want to play unless it drops something they want.
- People who want to skip content. (Because it is not designed to skip the unlocking of new content)
Absolutely love this idea. This should be a thing![*]Increase player synergies. This would work similarly to how skill chains or battle regime did, but far easier. For example, if a Marauder/Warrior inflicted a mob with Storm's Eye and withing the first 3 seconds of the debuff a Lancer/Dragoon delivered a Disembowel hit, they could skillchain and create a greater debuff like "Armor break" or something which enhanced both effects but 5%. This would work with the actual systems giving an edge and extra tool for the coordinated groups to work with, but won't make it mandatory to be used to finish any encounters.
-Quadruple (at least) hunt mob HP
-Remove High level rewards from mindless grinding content (e.g Sands from hunts)
-> More ways to gear up are a good thing, but I don't think the highest ilvl gear should be handed out for banging your head against the keyboard
-Add some actually challenging dungeons instead of only 3 new easy mode ones every patch
-Add procs or other special effects to gear to make it more interesting
-As someone else said, make the world connected instead of zones disconnected by loading screens
-Add FATE bosses that actually require a little effort to kill and give decent rewards
-Add huge flashing, red letters to every Dragoon main's screen that says "Use Heavy Thrust, Phlebetomize and your back combo"
-Stop designing armor with huge collars that clip through hair, making it look horrible, or have the collar disappear if it would clip, or have long hair switch to being a ponytail if it would clip
-For the love of all that is holy, either remove material drops from dungeons or adjust the dropchance to be WAY lower
-Give Monks an uppercut!
-Add an actual Support role
-Different looking Limit Breaks for each job ASAP!
Apply to Square Enix as a developer, provide my resume in the industry, and hopefully snag an interview.
I would then probably have to go through a few rounds of interviews against other programmers, but eventually, if I plead my case well enough, I land the job. I would then proceed to change whatever the Producer and QA told me to change, because I'm a programmer.
That's how I would improve the game in Real Life.
