Hunts being coordinated through a means other than shout?

It always seems to happen in the area where the weekly is for me, but it seems that somehow hundreds of people are converging on the weekly whenever it spawns without using Shout to communicate. Is there some sort of hush-hush way that everyone is communicating? The only reason why I know at all that they exist is because they only seem to use Shout after the hunt has died in a macro fashion that also says what time he died.

On my server, we have a rather large group that has a TS channel that we communicate through. I'm talking about some 500+ people, most likely more. Theres also 2 FCs dedicated to Hunts also using TS.

My suggestion would be to shout and ask to join a Hunt LS/FC. Good Luck!

There seems to be about 7-8 linkshells and probably a few chat channels dedicated to hunts on Shiva, but even being within any of them doesn't guarantee you'll get contribution rewards, as Shiva is full of greedy players and early pullers.

I'm not saying you won't find it elsewhere or maybe you can play without coming across the problems, but I will say this; good luck, you are going to need it.
