Think more V, XI, or 4 Heroes of Light Dancer.

Additionally, think of idol as more cuter, like Performers from Bravely Default or Party Hosts from 4 Heroes of Light

That's a very intriguing class concept there. Also, I'm glad to see people pointing out that they don't need to wear anything revealing, as that isn't actually something intrinsic with dancing to inspire others.

However, I'd like to know how you managed to fit all of that original post into a single post, given the character limit. I can't currently post my own class suggestion due to this. ._.

If you'd check out the Dynasty Warriors iron fan moveset in DW7-8, even though it's used by female characters (and some male characters), the moveset seems quite gender neutral. Strong and elegant, so males using a fan as a dancer is definitely doable without them looking effeminate.

I believe, if you are referring to just Dancer and not the entire class and jobs, you mean Last Waltz's potency, Mystic Waltz's MP recovery amount, and maybe Resplendence's curing potency and Moonlit Waltz being a Stone II that can be used in battle. I can see that and I'll correct them.

I just get annoyed when people post ideas about that they would like to see implemented, yet they obviously never thought about balance at all. Also I main Healing, so when I see something like this (if this was implemented there would be little reason to use SCH, and no reason to use WHM), a barely any "Cooldowns", no cast-time, TP-based Healer that can do basically everything the other two healers can do, (plus more. And switching between DNC and IDL would have no downside, since they are both Healers with OP abilities) can DPS well, heals groups and solo well (cure is core cross skill since it uses MP) and restore whatever you need, it just got to me.

Sorry, I should have been nicer but I get annoyed with stuff like this.
