@ExMachina
I don't know how it is on your server but on Excalibur, B rank mobs really aren't over camped. S rank is a zerg-fest (needs some adjustments like I said in my original post). But I've come across 10 or so B rank NMs in the past few days with no-one else in sight, tell my friends to come help me kill them and we are usually the only ones there. If we see other people we invite them. (and Excalibur is a very populated server)
My advise to you if you want to do hunts and have it not feel like a waste of time
1. get a friend or 2 (you don't need a full pt, I do fine with just me, my boyfriend, and a FC friend)
2. if you know an LS is trying to pop an S rank, search another zone for a B rank (B ranks pop every hour) (most of the server will have gotten word that an LS is trying to pop an S rank and that zone will be full of people)
3. run around and look for the NM. You'd be surprised how often B or even A ranks are just up and chilling with no one around.
and this is coming from someone who only plays 3 hours a day.
As far as the whole "hunts are ruining the game" argument, not true! It's nice to actually play with people on my server. I'm sick of mind numbing DF dungeons where we are thrown in with a batch of people from random servers we'll probably never see again.
I'm not saying hunts are perfect, I agree they do need some adjustments, but I do not agree that they should be instanced content. A little competition is good for the community.

Let's think positive,
now no one need to complain can't get gear from dungeons,
also no one blame 13500 myth for animus,
no more complain they need to SR everything,
no one complain ppl not waiting first timer to watch CS,
no one say if you run X for myth, you are doing wrong,
and no suggestion for more NM and open world content.... etc
So, i think hunting was what some players suggested previously.
BTW, I don't hunt everyday, bcoz it is hard to stop.
I suggest ppl don't like hunting just ignore it,
very soon, i110 will become something like darklight, take it easy!
So to resolve everything, just push SE throw out i120 immediately! so simple. ^^;
being in a party doesn't even matter. it's still hard to get seals. i get 1~5 seals from all rank marks. thats B, A and S Rank marks. they all always award me with only 1~5 seals. and half the time i am the one to discover it and form the party. it doesn't even matter if the games frame rate is decent or not. heck there have been times when the game simply refused to register my enmity and didn't reward ANYTHING.
all-in-all The Hunt is hugely broken. and for those that it does work... thanks for ruining Tomestones of Mythology. >_> is okay though. not your fault. SE implemented this "The Hunt" in a VERY POOR manner.

Found an A mark last night and a couple parties showed. Not 16 people. I found it and asked for an invite. None in PF. It was about 4:30 AM ET, so the central shroud was dead and I was just waiting for a fate to pop to complete my daily hunt marks. Almost ran right into the mark. Shouted 3 times and gave 4 minutes to pull. I knew I couldn't defeat this myself, so it was either wait for others or just let it pass. Anyway, after a few shouts, people showed up and no invite. Then one says, "Pull in 3 seconds." So, I pulled right then. Then I dragged the mark into the middle of them and ran out, watching them all kite him like beginners. 3 healers, 3 healers and a pile of DPS and you can't keep this guy still? Really? Then I came in and pounded for a few tomes and completed my hunt marks for a couple more. SE needs to account for situations where people are not in a party and can't get into one at times. I honestly understand why this might happen, it was late (or early) and there are few people online. I'd killed 3 B marks with patience and a chocobo by that point after shouting and waiting 4 minutes each time. It's not their fault that they were full when hunting atma or waiting to start a trial or something. But it left me out. Just frustrating, that's all.

Take Myth and Soldiery out of the Hunt rewards and slightly increase the Allied Seals you get from kills. Killing Marks will still be worth the time but the entire rest of the game will no longer be obsolete.

This won't fix the issue imo. I mean no offense by that, this is just how I see it mind you. You can get i90 from Allied Seals as well at a fairly low rate it would liven up Expert Roulette dungeons at most. They need to take a serious look at the purchasable rewards, really. Most people are zerging hunts to gear up a secondary class with gear once exclusive to Myth, upgrade their Sol gear or Zodiac weapon, or Alexandrite for Animus. Other than that there are some vanity gear (basically), minions, and tiny convenience items like Ventures or Aetheryte tickets.
IMO it would go much further to remove Alexandrite and the ability to purchase Sands/Oil with Logs as a way of curbing the zerg. Zerg content = bad content. Alternatively change this system to something similar to voidwatch. You can buy a spawn item with Allied Seals attained from Daily/Weekly hunts, kill said mob, maybe have a chance of receiving a new spawn item alongside some rewards, AS, and gil. That new spawn item could be used to spawn one of three new mobs. Allow FCs to spend credits to purchase spawn items for more difficult sets. Enemies spawned can only be engaged by party or alliance that spawned them, similar to treasure maps and leves.

When I am not hunting myself, I disable the screaming chat. What people are posting is 100% vicarious embarrassment. Early pull, wait plz, inv plz..can't read that crap anymore. Somebody will always be too late just like there are enough ppl who do not give a crap about others and pull the mob in under a minute after Spawn.
You know, i was going to agree with the people that say the hunts are making content obsolete... Not just because the tomestone and seal drop rates far outpace any other method, but also because it's harder to get groups to take on extreme challenges than before.... So many people just want to zerg hunts...
BUT, maybe we're looking at it the wrong way... Now the people who join a titan extreme group will be the ones who want challenges, and want to face difficult mechanics.. Not just get easy stuff, but DO something with it. The people who do join now are probably less likely to need carried, and are more likely to prepare for challenges.
If it keeps lazy people out of my titan extreme group, then gogo hunts!
First everyone fate ground because it was the "best" way to level, but they didn't know their class, and some missed class quest skills.
Now we will have hunt grinders with goosed ilvl who won't know the endgame. You can't stop people from taking the easy carry route.
