FFXIV single-player prequel trilogy?

I bet it's a prequel trilogy to FFXIII... because SE seems to think we love the hell out of FFXIII

Because whether you like it or not the games did extremely well, XIII in itself was a best seller next to FFVII. XIII-2 didn't do AS well but extremely well and XIII-3 did well but not amazingly. So you may not like it, but plenty do just like many dislike FFVII yet they still pump out VII based games simply because it was many people's first FF game and first RPG.

Umm NO it was the fastest selling FF title in history dethroning VIII not the best sold! Not to mention the game was multi-plat! FF7 and 8 are the best sellers and they sold on a single system

Also I don't know what this Prequel Trilogy is I hope they don't start development on it yet and just focus on the projects they've already revealed.
FFXV is LONG over due
KH2 was nine years ago, and now we know that KH3 won't come out til after XV comes out and lord knows when that's going to happen
Type-0?! SE left every Vita owner outside of Japan confused and bewildered about where this game was and then spring an amazing switcheroo that it's coming to PS4 and XB1 when a fan translation was just released!

Of course some will respond with, "You know there's different teams right?" and I point you to the 2007 fiasco, where the FF Versus team STOPPED working on that game to work on FFXIII delaying Versus to the next-gen consoles and getting a rename!

i see no reason at all to not connect something like this to our online accounts so that achievements yield in-game rewards like minions, gear, mounts etc...

to that i say i would play the shit outta any prequel to FFXIV!

With a FF14 restaurant open I wouldn't be too surprised if they atleast make a game for 3ds or mobile. Don't think this game needs a prequal trilogy..... then again if you include 1.0, arr and then a prequal then FF14 can be considered a trilogy.

I'd love for it to take place when garlemald 1st invaded eorzea15 to 20 yrs ago.

Theme café's pop up all the time in Japan.
If something is somewhat popular a café will pop up somewhere in Tokyo (preferably Akihabara or Ikebukuro). Some are temporary, others are more long term.

WoTG is a prequel expansion , u travel to the past! and even talk to future npcs when they were kids ^^
