Didnt recieve progress in my Atma book (Book of Skywind II)

I just finished my run in Copperbell Mines (Hard) with my Thyrus Atma equiped. We wiped on the boss 2-3 times and when we finally defeated him everyone, except the tank, were dead. I didn't recieve my progress in my book after defeating the boss, I only got the tomes of mythology and soldiery.
please fix this and my progress in my book, as it's obnoxious and tiresome to go through the dungeon AGAIN.

I think you might actually need to be alive when the boss is killed. This happened to me on a hunt log for a pudding boss and I had to re-run the dungeon and make sure I was alive for the kill.
