Am I missing something about Novus?

I never understood trying to make the Novus weapon BiS in and of itself. You have all that armor to consider as well. If you can get all the accuracy you need from your amror, then great. If not, go ahead and put accuracy on your weapon. Probably a better idea if you can change some armor around and put accuracy on your weapon and save a few million gil and end up with the same stats overall anyway.

Actually, if u get an item with 2-3 slots, meld a few materia III type,
u get more stats without wasting $gil$.

Materia III can be easily obtained from conversion.

Why is everyone acting like 10m is difficult to farm...? You can SB for 30 minutes and make 300k minimum. I would actually recommend SBing crafting/gathering gear -> sell -> buy the materia you need. Feel free to gimp yourself b/c you're too lazy to farm, but the "is 1-2 dps really worth 10m?" argument is incredibly stupid.

If you want to spend an additional 33 hours for 1 to 2 dps - have at it. I still think you're a little bit too over confident in your ability to SB in 30 minutes but I won't penalize you for that. Still 33 hours based on what you said.

Because everyone has all the time in the world to do that, right? . it has nothing to do with "lazy" some people actually have other things to do. that is assuming you Get the right materia to sell for high price, and the "quick" runs to bind said materia, for that 30 minutes time frame you set, and in enough quantity AND not undercut by everyone else doing the same thing, and no matter how you look at it 1-2 dps for 10m will never be a smart investment.
