Quest Marker

Right now it's very annoying to view where the quest objective is because you have to go through the menu to the journal. If you forget you have to do that again and menu isnt very fast and the map you view isnt properly marked like our main map.
Solution would be to add a "Mark Quest" option which would be displayed at the bottom of the quest entry and this would mark the quest objective on our main map. This way if we view the map at any time the quest objective would be highlighted until the quest is finished.
This is pretty standard in many MMOs and would make our lives way easier.

personally i would rather they remove the whole marking where the quest objective is.... it isnt so fun knowing exactly where you have to go.. better off having to explore a little to learn where it is using proper hints from the npcs.. not just go here its on your map..

While I can appreciate Saidin's wanting more hints and less obviousness, I think in the meantime since there are NOT many hints, just a lot of NPC's saying things like "Here, I'll mark them on your map", I also VERY VERY much support Cichy's suggestion of making some way to view quest markers on your main map as well, which pulls up easily.

Maybe in the future, they can add more hints... like the Hearing Confession quest - I almost thought that was going to be something like this as the NPC says things like "a man standing on a street corner in Ul'Dah" and I was like, 'Oh cool, I get to search for people'... and then no, they're on the map, too. *shrugs*
