    WAR MOGKING EX tanking question

Ran this for my first time today via duty finder I was curious if any other war tanks had issue with their mob dieng too fast before the group initiates the next fight mechanic. If so, how you handled holding the mobs without killing/losing control/wasting provoke(i was saving provoke s for quick tank swaps of MK) when they are waiting for Dps to finish burning the other mogs down to the appropiate hp percentage.

I was tankng the MAR and 1st attempt I had to disengage to avoid killing early_ I figured I went heavy on my rotations, 2nd attempt I slowed my rotations down but still found myself having to disengage and even losT control of mob, perhaps I overlooked a hate reset move being used. Is this a rare incident type of situation or am I doing something wrong. We ended up not winning as we could not kill all mobs+Mk in time before the final cast.

The DPS was bad on this DF party you were.

If the DPS is good you should have your mog at 3% ish HP when all other mogs are around 5%-10% HP, without using Berserk on Unchained.

If the DPS is awesome then you use Berserk and/or Unchained. I have yet to see awesome DPS that would require me to do this.

Also WHM mog cures the WAR mog after it has low HP.

It has happened to me also, to have my mog on low health (< 15% ) while some other mogs still had more than 50% health.
When that happens and I'm not MT the King, i usually hit the archer or bard that are always waltzing around me.

Hate resets will happen. Any hit on your mog should get hate back, though. Don't waste provoke on that.

    You just... Stop attacking >_>
If you've done enough damage to get it that low, you aren't going to lose hate to anyone on it.
Go DPS other moogles once you've had the King taken off of you.

Depending on my group i do different things. For example if its my FC, ill go to sleep after hes low. if its DF or pugd ill stop hitting him when he gets low and just keep wrath and IB rolling via King or the other mogs when i don't have King.

You also don't have to hit him with anything more than your SP combo to hold him most of the time

The hate reset comes right after Mog Rain of Death. If you see that black circular symbol above other people's heads, get ready to BB combo your assigned moogle.
