Maybe it just takes more time to put in fixes for the real issues... inconceivable, right?

You're underestimating Square Enix. It wouldn't take them 3 weeks to put dynamic HP on Hunt mobs, put a weekly cap on seals and on sands. Of all the thing they decided to put the server down for, it's this. I really hope there are ninja changes when the server comes back up else this would be quite disappointing.

The server most likely went down primarily for the anti-cheat aspect, and they figured "hey, we've got this part of the hunt fix ready, we may as well put it in now."

Let's be honest, this ain't a fix whatsoever. Heck, if in 3 weeks they couldn't patch something, anything to remotely alleviate some of the issues of the hunt, highly doubt they have anything in the work for it. I just hope they prove me wrong.

There's also the possibility that they encountered a last minute issue with further changes and had to cancel part of the patch, rolling out only some parts since they had maintenance scheduled already.

I hate to break to all of you but there is no 'nerf' coming.. they only adjusted it so that its not the same weekly hunt twice in a row.
The rewards are exactly as SE intended and will NOT be changed in any way.
If you don't enjoy the content don't do it... it really is that simple.
Time to move on and stop acting like little babies.

Only ones I see acting like babies are the ones who try to keep others from catching up or accomplishing goals. They are the same ones who cry when SE fixes something they break while lamenting SE broke it not them. None of us really know what SE intended neither do you. All I know is anything ppl can find to exploit or milk forces SE to adjust things. Running around all day killing mark after mark I doubt is what they intended. Having other players keep others from getting full weekly credit I doubt was intended. Milk it while you can before they do fix it. Then they can cry afterwards because I know they will.
