The Basics

Hi guys,

I'm a complete Noob. I know very little about the game and for some reason decided to start as a Thaumaturge.

Can anyone give me some general information on the class?

Start as a melee job :P
Thm is hard to solo imo until you start getting skills from other classes such as second wind (pug) and some con spells like fire,blizzard, etc.
I tried to start as a thm a long time ago but it was slow and painful.
