Novus Meld Failure - Remove Please

As the title suggests, please remove the failure chance from Novus Infusion. There is 0 need for this. Putting in the time/effort to earn the Alexandrites & Materia is enough.

Seen a number of people fail 6 straight Grade IV infusions, it's messed up.

The chances look perfectly reasonable to me. (Especially compared to overmelding.)
You also don't lose your alexandrite upon failure.

Problem lies mostly in the true RNG factor, once again. One person 100%'s all their Grade IV's, another person loses 10 costing them millions or many, many more hours SB'ing in the hopes they'll RNG harder for the particular Grade IV's they need.

Do you really "need" that Savage Might/Aim IV? (mentioning those because those are the two most expensive that I've seen)
If you don't like the costs associated with it, you can go for another stat distribution with very small consequences in the end result.

Look for alternative infusions? I'm not sure why you'd expect the most ideal infusion(s) to be cheap. The community knows that ideal infusions are desirable, hence the inflated pricing for crit and det materia compared to before Novus came out.

I think the cost associated with the Grade IV should be the materia itself, whether rarely earned via SB'ing or grossly paid for via MB.

The added cost of the chance of losing it is just flat-out inequitable & unneeded in my opinion.

The cost of the materia only is sufficient.

Sure I don't 'have' to risk it, but I don't think I should have to risk it.

The pricing is enough. I'm personally avoiding Grade IV infusions myself but I think those who have Grade IV's should be able to utilize them without fear.

It just seems unjust one person could get RNG-lucky & infuse 9 Grade IV's without issue while another person could lose all 9.

SE relies far too much on true RNG imo.

I would be fine with the current system if they implemented a proper spiritbond system, something that doesn't require people gimping a party with low level gear or in most cases, crafter/gatherer gear in a dungeon.

You can easily spiritbond stuff solo in the open-world. Not really sure how you'd implement a proper spiritbond system.

You're not required to spiritbond in dungeons for crafter/gatherer materia. Max ilevel here is i55, which is bondable open world.
i70+ equipment however need dungeon runs to spiritbond (not sure if technically really required or would just take way too much time open world), and at that level you can make up for it with skill assuming it's job appropriate gear.
Cheaper to just do i4x-i55 gear open world spiritbonding though.
Northern Thanalan, Mor Dhona, Western La Noscea (Sapsa), Outer La Noscea (Mines), etc. are good places for the open world bonding.
