Just remove daily hunts from the game please.

Really, don't wanna go into all the details, they're all over the forums. But they generally create a f×××ucking god-awful atmosphere: mark pops - one shout, maybe two - silence or a buttload of "inv pls" in shouts - can't even get there and the mark is dead already within less than half a minute. And then everyone's at someone's throat because of the pull, because of the lack of impatience - and the reactions are horrible too. Then there's another way it goes down: huge crowd, tons of flashes - mark ain't even rendered but characters are getting killed off left, right and center.

Removal sounds too radical? Perhaps, but until there's an actual solution (and with SE only planning to increase the seals received by actual dailies, it doesn't seem like they're bothered much), it's just too big a blow to the game experience. There had been enough reasons for people to be jerks about before the hunt system, but this blew all of those waaay out of the water.

*daily/weekly - I don't even see what difference it makes tbh, actual dailies mean piss-poor rewards; and even without the bills, elites spawn all the time all over Eorzea and everyone's after them all the time, every day....

Could it be that you are mixing up daily with weekly?
Nothing wrong with daily hunts except the extremely poor rewards it yields.

I agree with you and my advice is...dont do it ...if you really want a peace of mind...just dont do them, in end what does it matter a pixeled mark? a better pixeled gear after some times? yes sure but those new gears arent worth all the aggravations that come with it.

Truley if behaviour rules were really put into effect at all levels, probably there would be far less problems then we see, until then though, I suggest to all like you (which I am aslo part) NOT to partake in these hunts..just do something else. In theory you should be able to do them in an enjoyable way, but practice shows is far from being the case, so sit back and wait for better times or do somethign else.

I always do daily hunt, and it is rare to appear someone of my side. With exception when it is related with some fate.

The reference should be of elite (weekly), I presume.

OP edited - like I say, I'm not even sure if calling them daily/weekly makes any difference. Anyhow. Whole hunt system just needs to go.

The only way to "opt out" right now, is to entirely disable shouts... which I don't think is any sort of proper way to not get involved in a particular type of content - you'll miss other things too, and you can still happen to be in the same spot as a mark where you see it going down and getting the /says on your screen too.

That said, yeah, we can "not do" any kind of content. Problem is, if "bad" content that we don't wanna do starts piling up... we won't have anything to do. And that's gonna be bad for SE too on the long run if people start leaving in bunches.
