Ragequitting in Duty Finder has leveled up!

Yesterday I was doing tamtaraHM, looking for that sneaky little Body for casters.
I queued as BLM, so waiting time was usually around 10/15 minutes.

when the duty finally starts, we begin clearing the road of the trash mobs, till we arrive at Leavinne.
we kill her, roll on the loot.
and then the tank leaves the duty.
everyone got frustrated and leaves, as I stand here, like an idiot.

I suck it up, and requeue. another 15 minutes waiting, and the duty starts again.
and again, we kill leavinne, and the tank leaves.
seriously, wtf.
what is wrong with people, these days.
I get enough of the ragequitting when I do the Duty Roulette Low, and the tank leaves as soon as he/she sees that Aurum vale or Stone Vigil begins.
I mean, what do you need to kill only the first boss for? the 20 mith tomes? A MINUN? go out and do hunts instead ._.

They probably wanted that tank vanity armor piece from the first boss and don't give a shit about the other 3 players.

the tank armor piece only drops at the first boss?

The specific piece they want, probably.
Like the chest piece will only drop at final boss... if it doesn't give you filtered water.

I see that a lot. A friend joins a dungeon with me and says "I only need the first boss, after that I'm leaving". In the end I decide to stay so I don't make the other players wait more (I'm a healer).

if feels like te Syrcus Tower then...
as a BLM, I mainly want the body, as a loot.
so I'm stuck at waiting till the last boss, and it never drops xD
but if in the ST i get other gear peices that might interest me, when I do TamTara HM or Hullbreaker I always get crafting material >_>
it seems this patch is so Caster-unfriendly ;_;
or maybe I just suck at RNG.

Want first boss chest loot only, do a PF with that purpose. Chances are you easily find 3 others that only want something from first chest.
I myself lack only two pieces for a full Divine Harvest set.
Haven't tried to PF for only first chest yet, but I'm close to as I don't really want to run full dungeon, and I don't leave after first boss either if I enter normally.

I get your point, but for what I need, I think it will be hard doing a PF with the purpouse of "doing 10000 times this dungeon till we get our drop" xD

but gear aside, I actually like doing these new HM dungeons... hullbreaker is fun, and tam tara is hands down the best dungeon ever made ( I always laught when Liavinne uses Tantrum)

doing only what you need, quitting and repeat, it feels so wrong, you are just missing all the fun :/
what if everyone quits the syrcus tower once they get their weekly loot.
it would be just pointless xD

I do like the three new dungeons. And do full runs.
At some point however I'd like to just finish the set before going back to normal runs.
I just remembered the latest live letter saying something about looking into increasing gear drop rate so I'll probably hold off on doing a PF first chest only until then.

Sounds like they need to make it so that all vanity pieces drop off the final boss only...
