Or just keep begging until the devs cave since they don't seem to care much about lore anyway, like most others.

the easy way around the lore would be to have race quests. such as an Elezen or maybe a Miqo'te in Gridania that wants you to join something like a dinner or a ritual but they want you to dress the part. it wouldn't be that hard to add cool quests to allow other races to wear race specific starter gear and it would be nifty if they did.

lots of possibilities that could make neat little side stories and still keep with lore
