Request: Racial Gear Expanded (Dyeing, Interchangable)

Dying - yes.
Making them interracial... I'm not so sure about that. I mean they're racial for a reason, no? Even if there's zero actual lore about the different races/cultures in the game.
But while we're at racial gear changes - please also make them unisex. Yes, it requires some work, but well, we are paying for it, aren't we? Most of them is already pretty much wearable by both sexes (judging by looks and design) anyway.

A thousand times yes. I would love to be able to dye this gear, because then I could glamour and wear it with outfits that I want @_@ I hate creating a glamour around a certain color over a color that I like because the pieces are cute ;-;

each race does have its own lore...(some of it you can read in-game when you make a race.)
there's even some set of subquests involving the duskwight elzen the underground ruins that they used to live in to avoid the elementals wrath ages ago in the black shroud.

most races don't originate in Eorzea, however which is probably why there isint a whole lot of talk about racial things.

Even so i wouldn't have much of a problem allowing others to wear it.

knowing SE it would be crafted vanity though~ (which i wouldn't mind either. but i know some people would lol)

I'd love to be able dye starter clothes, as well as wear the styles from other races (hello Hyur boots and Elezen top!), but I will totally settle for just being able to dye what we have.

I would love to use other race's outfits. Even thought the dev team will probably never make it happen from a design perspective, I support the idea. I would love to use these lovely miqo'te boots ;_;

I'd certainly like both things to happen; of course the request to wear other race's gear is more work on SE's part to implement.

Dyeing the stuff should be no problem to add though.

Edit: As for the lore thing, adventurers are supposed to be different than normal folk. Considering the lore in this game says that the same dye can be used "to dye anything from cloth to metal" it's pretty unrealistic that a dye that can do that can't do that on whatever gear you'd want to do it on.

I would love to be able to dye my racial clothing! I love the starting Elezen dress, just a shame the boots aren't one piece. But the shoe part is very multi-functional, so it works.

I personally like the idea of race-specific gear. There is lore flushed out already for the general personalities of every race, and the race-specific gear enhances that I think. I personally would like to see more versions of the hempen gear that changes appearance per race.

If it's not meant to be tied to racial culture, why do we even start with RSE? They could have simply made generic starter gear (like low level hempen clothes). Yet we begin with specific gear thats determined by our race. That's as far as it goes, though.

I never at any point said people were subhuman or that they should feel bad for wanting more glamour choices. But if you feel threatened and bullied somehow, sorry?

I've said my thoughts on my opinions enough already. If you want to keep quoting me and tacking on buzzwords and accusations with no backing, go for it dude.
