T9 heavens fall push help

-melee stay on boss the whole time (except to get out of dragon aoe)
-use pots right after 1st heavens fall and blow all cooldowns, Smns get dots up then Bane to add when it spawns (side note you can use both stat and poison pots, they are not on same cool down)
-use Mage Lb3 to finish off dragon and help push boss

Well, it doesnt relly matter how you do it. Of course the way you describe works well(in a pt with capable dps). But you can also LB3 melee right away.(or after add if the 3rd bar didnt fill with megaflare) Have the Melees
also dps the add. and then everyone on the boss again. We have Nael usually at 48 during 2nd Heavensfall so we can push that 1% to not even get that Super Nova during 2nd Heavensfall.

I think there´s no need to give OP "advice" how to do it, since so many different ways work well. YOu just do what you feel most comfortable with. Party from OP has definatly a general dps Problem.

Thank you all for the responses. We managed to get a smooth transition once though I'm not sure what we did different.
Our dps don't need to be replaced. We get 4 meteors even if someone dies to a lunar dynamo or double streams (were a late night raid group and sometimes due to lack of sleep people fail to notice the meteor symbol on their heads and they don't move) lmao
I think what we have been doing is our mnk LB3's the boss as they land after mega flare. The mnk stays on the boss and the rest of us pop CDs and unload on the boss and first add. I pop raging strikes, bio2, miasma, bio, fester, miasma 2, posion pot, contagion, fester before rs wears off, then save the last aetherflow stack for bane. Our sch started using cleric stance and putting up a few dots. I can get my 3 main dots before the first heaven's fall comes down and the knock back puts me next to him/her for miasma 2+poison pot. Now we just need to practice this enough that we don't have any trouble with it anymore like the golems. Then We might be able to kill the rat with wings.

IMO the easiest way is Mage LB3 boss and the 1st add.

BRD times Foe Requium + Battle Voice after Megaflare goes off and before Heavensfall falls down and straight burst at boss and drop dots.

DPS can split, with 1 DPS, either a SMN or melee continue to push the boss HP's down while others whack the 1st add to approx 50% HP. Your group should be able to drop the 1st dragon HP to at least 60% before mage LB3 hits, then finish the remaining (Mage LB3 should wipe 50% of the add's HP off) or drop it to 50% HP and Mage LB3 would finish it.

In fact once I push it to about 60%, I swap back to the boss (as a BRD) and reapply the DoTs. If the dragon add still not dead after LB3, then I turn back to help finish it off.

By now with i110 weapon you should be easily doing 1 add only. (and since you can do 4 meteor on phase 1).
