Fact that demimateria doesn't show up on market is not because it is rare - people who can get it tend to use it in crafting items that require demimateria.
Not sure if person that can't craft at least 2 star items is able to level up desynth fast enough to start selling demimateria already.

Another nifty tip: dunno if it works on the head parts, but if you desynth one of the new i70 mainhand tools you can get up to three Mastercraft demimateria.

Hmmm, not sure if I want to repeat crafting the stuff for the tools ^^;

If you get 3 Demimateria from a tool out of 5 tries, that would mean you would have 25 tries (including 25x skillup) to get them from the headpiece for the same effort.
