    Leveling Up Your Free Company

    Hello there!

I am an experienced player who recently founded a Free Company, and seeing as how the previous FCs I was part of were already rank 8 when I joined, I never got much involvement with the actual ranking up part.

So my question is, what activities give credit towards the FC rank? I am asking because my goal is to reach Rank 6 as soon as possible to purchase a house and I would like to be as time efficient as I can in getting there. I have a only a few members at this time, but this information would be valuable to them as well.

Any tips or help would be much appreciated!

    Thank you for your time!

Looks like HQ crafting, HQ gathering, treasure hunting, leves, FATEs, quests, and daily quests contribute to FC rank. The post I checked was old and I feel like they added dungeons into the mix with a recent update, but I can't confirm that.

Fast FC leveling looks like stupid 46-50 lvl fate grinding in Southern Thanalan. It is the only way to do this fast. Each "fate touch" (killing one mob from fate) gives 60-80 points. In Thanalan this gives 800-1000 points/hour from one player. If number of players online is more than one, income from each of them will be reduced. I also found out that rank marks seems to be dependent on GC rank, so getting more seals is a goal too, but points are the main goal.
My rank marks from 2 to 6 are a little different from reedit's digits, but it's not very critical i think.
    2 - 3762
    3 - 14910
    4 - 33410
    5 - 59445
    6 - 90219

Are those totals cumulative? Meaning does each rank start over with 0, for example from Rank 5 to 6 does it take a full 90,219 points or is it 30,774 being the difference of Rank 6 from 5.

These totals are NOT CUMULATIVE. To get rank 6 you will need to get about 90K of points total. It differs from class leveling where exp counter starts from zero on each level. During FC leveling points doesn't drops to zero on each rank and i got rank 2 at 3.7K points mark, rank 3 at 15K, ets.

Ps yes, you wil need to get ~30K of points to go from rank 5 to rank 6 (60K -> 90K)

Pps additionally i think that number of points to reach next level may be increased due to some situations - if someone leaves fc or when you use company actions. And this amount i think may be reduced if you get next rank in your's fc relations with gc. 90K is for status "trusted". Maybe for "allied" it will be less.

Based on what you describe, that means they are cumulative (increasing or increased in quantity by successive additions).

Thank you for your response. It is very helpful!
